Meet Dr. Cole Fortenberry

Ever since I began my profession over 25 years ago, I have been dedicated to creating warm relationships with my patients as I strive toward giving them the best care possible. There is nothing like seeing a radiant smile and feeling the sense of renewed confidence after a patient has completed his or her treatment. What greater reward is there in life but to help another person feel good and be healthy?

Education and Continuing Education

I received my undergraduate degree at Mississippi College in 1986. I then graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1990, where I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. From there I went on to establish my private practice in Madison, Mississippi.

As a believer in constantly staying ahead of the curve in my profession, I am a strong proponent of continuing education, taking TruDenta™ training courses, as well as a variety of other courses.  As a member of the American Dental Association and the Mississippi Dental Association, I am also able to keep informed of the latest advances in dentistry.

I am always striving to improve my clinical skills in order to better care for my patients. I enjoy restoring a patient’s mouth to a healthy state, as well as all the other aspects of my profession, from extractions and endodontic treatment to cosmetic improvements.

Improving Patients’ Quality of Life

One of the greatest benefits of my work is helping to improve the quality of my patients’ lives by getting them out of pain and back to normal health. With the help of my incredible team whose experience and caring attitude is so appreciated by everyone, our patients feel comfortable and confident that we will take excellent care of their dental needs.

A Bit More About Me

I am a native of Jackson and currently live in Madison, Mississippi. I have been married to my wife, Stephanie, for over 25 years, and we have three sons, Austin, Jacob, and Jordan.  I love spending time with my family, as well as working and playing outdoors. I am a member of the City of Madison Chamber of Commerce and am active at my local church, Broadmoor Baptist Church, which gives its members many opportunities to grow spiritually while helping those in need in our community.  I also volunteer with the Caring Hands Clinic that provides free dental services to patients in Madison County.

As a Christian, I am passionate about pursuing a closer walk with God. As a family man, I want to be the best husband and father I can be. As a dentist, I want to provide the best possible care to my patients.

Feel free to find me on to learn more about me and the practice.
